Covington Ready For Three Nights of Action with the National Tour
CG Motorsports – Glenpool, Ok. (Aug 28th, 2019) Matt Covington and his CG Motorsports team are ready for three days of action over the Labor Day Holiday weekend after having the last three weekends off.
Matt will take on 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Ia., before heading over to Lake Ozark Speedway Saturday and Sunday for two nights of racing.
“I am ready to get back to racing,” stated Matt. “We didn’t have the best runs in Iowa for the Nationals or Osky. At Knoxville, we just never recovered from the bad draw and Osky, we had a fuel fire while running third. I was definitely ready to come home and regroup. But, between the canceled race in Missouri and Memphis getting rained out last weekend, I’m anxious to get back in the car. I need to give a shout out to Mike. That was a long grueling stretch over June, July, and August and I can’t thank him enough. But now we got everything fresh so we can continue to have strong runs as the 2019 season winds down.”
